Process Improvement Planning using DevPip - Oxford Software Engineering's structured approach
OSEL's DevPip is a structured approach to process improvement planning. It has been developed and refined over a number of years to bridge the gap between an assessment and improvement implementation.
DevPip provides a framework and guidance for planning the improvements to ensure that process improvement plans are timely, realistic, and effective.
The three stages of DevPip:
- Refinement
Refine and organise the findings of the assessment.
- Alignment
Align the recommendations to the company's business goals.
Define measurable objectives.
- Delivery
Deliver a plan showing how the process improvement objectives are achieved.
DevPip progressively transferring the understanding of process capability of the assessment team to the organisation whilst transforming it into an action-oriented plan.
