Everyone’s
needs are different, so we work in different ways to meet those needs: 1. Assignment: Where you need a solution we join
your organization to provide it. We prefer to work incrementally to
deliver early, measurable outcomes of clear and lasting value, fast. We do this using clear and accountable
methods to identify and agree the issue to be resolved, identify a good
solution, proven where it exists, novel when required, and then work with
managers and staff, sharing knowledge, methods and tools, to deliver that
solution. We have developed and acquired a number of very effective methods
and tools for managing change and software process improvement that we make
freely available to those we work with, and these tools become yours. This is
the most comprehensive service we offer, and because we prefer an incremental
approach it is non disruptive, low impact, low risk, and low cost. Sometimes you simply need the
knowledge to develop the solution yourself. We will provide a range of
workshops, coaching, guidance and advice to help you solve your problems and
achieve agreed objectives. You will
have ready access to our tools for change and process improvement. A traditional and cost effectives
way to introduce or re-invigorate practices, models and concepts for large
numbers of people; and a low cost, low risk way to investigate aspects of
software development, management and testing. We prefer to start with an analysis to determine what is
needed, and then tailor or develop the material, incorporating your own
material too, if desired. We can deliver courses ‘off the shelf ‘ too; to
introduce topics or establish a common understanding. And we can help you
train your trainers, and develop your own materials too. Sometimes it is difficult for
smaller organizations or teams to justify the investment in developing their
own functions or services. They are not used sufficiently to justify
developing them in house, but do add value or are required by process
standards or certification bodies. We can provide you with a range of on
demand services including Quality Assurance (not including testing), the
facilitation of management and technical reviews, facilitation of
retrospectives and post implementation reviews – and expedite their actions,
manage risk workshops, undertake process and product measurement, and many
other support functions. We can be available at any time by
phone or email to answer unlimited questions. The frequency and style of interaction
are up to you and we will visit you on site too, if needed. This service is
best for organizations or teams we have already worked with or that are
already on their way to achieving their objectives. Costs: Costs depend on the scope and duration
of the work, but are probably less than you expect. On large assignments it
may be necessary to charge a fee for initial consultation, but this will be
credited to the cost of the assignment. Contact us for a quote. Guarantee: We want you to succeed so we
guarantee our work. For six months after the completion of work we will keep
in touch. If, during this period, results are not adequate, or your progress
is too slow we will undertake on site remedial work without additional charge
to eliminate the problem. For the duration of the guarantee
