Software Measurement |
The Measurement Maturity Model is used to
characterise an organisation's metrics capability.
We have a long term commitment to
software measurement and have wide experience developing the effective use of
measurement in software development and support. We have developed a lightweight
‘Measurement Maturity Model’ that allows an organisation to determine its
measurement capability and put in place appropriate, and consequently, useful
and effective measurement systems.

The Measurement Healthcheck is a rapid appraisal of an
organisation's measurement capability. It identifies how effective current
measurement systems are and identifies improvements that can make them more
effective.

Measurement Assessment is an in-depth investigation of an
organisation's measurement capability. It identifies the current capability,
strengths and weaknesses in the measurement activities and identifies
improvements that can be made, and provides a measurement improvement plan.

Measurement Deployment is a consultancy service provided by
OSEL to establish a measurement system appropriate to organisational
capabilities and needs. It identifies the business drivers for measurement,
identifies a core set of measures for the organisation to capture, designs a
capture, verification, presentation, and reporting mechanism, and delivers a
deployment plan.

The Measurement Workshop trains your staff while they work
to develop sound, practical measurement systems to meet your organisation’s
technical and management information needs.
